Why do we live in a world where social media has taken over and actually interacting with people has become almost obsolete? There was a time where people would would go out to a movie, a picnic in the park or even a hike but, social media has taken over and now picking up a phone has replaced picking up a book. Going for a hike has been pushed aside just so someone can post a meme. “Hi, my name is..” got lost in someone DMs. We need to get back to the good old days where being around each other was the only social interaction we needed.
