Let The Storm Begin

Let The Storm Begin

His world is crashing in front of him

Yet no one seems to care

The strength has left him helpless

Beaten broken and bare

The voices inside his mind

Are gone leaving him quiet

His dreams no longer visions

Instead are nightmares causing a riot

Struggling searching for answers

But it seems as if no one care

He grabs a knife that has teased him

And starts to cut away every problem that was there

The blood drips from his wrists

Like a river running down the bend

Now on his knees eyes closed

Looking to sky thunder signals the end

Let the storm begin he says

My life was never the best

I done shit

Lost shit

Maybe I need the rest

Let the water shower down on me

I hope it washes away the pain

For I know I could’ve done much better

So I should be thankful for the rain

Let the lightning strike

Sending shockwaves through my soul

Hopefully it will wake me up

Forcing my thoughts and feelings to become whole

Let the storm begin

He states

Hoping for answer

He waits

No one shows up

No one cares

No one calls

The darkness stares

Clouds begin to form

No light now passes through

Suddenly out of nowhere

He sees something obstructing his view

A presence seen by many

Felt by others

A presence that guides us all

Sisters and brothers

A person who follows us

Watches where we go

A being who without him

Love would never show

He takes his hand picks him up

and shows him the way

He held him like a child

And told him he would stay

I heard you call my name

And I saw you start to cry

I watched you cut your wrist

But I will not let you die

For you see your life is just beginning

I see so much in you

Get up my son

It is time to make your life brand new

So God took his hand

And wiped away the tears

Opened up his heart again

Scared away the fears

Gave him courage once more

Told him he was free

Said that he would never be lost again

Because all you need to do is follow me

So let the storm begin you said

And this I understand

But my child I am here to tell you

This is not your end
